Required Skills: JLPT N2 or N1 level Japanese proficiency (Fluent speaking and writing), Business-level English communication, Mechanical or automotive exposure preferred, Immediate availability and full-time onsite support

Job Summary:

1. This role is part of the Diagnostics, Mobility & Digital Solutions team at Client, focusing on the development, validation, and release of vehicle diagnostics systems for commercial vehicles.
2. The engineer will be responsible for analyzing ECU changes, authoring diagnostic data in formats such as CXF and ODX and preparing specification sheets
3. The position involves close coordination with project and R&D teams to plan diagnostics testing and vehicle availability, as well as contributing to the development of new technologies and continuous improvement initiatives.
4. Coordinate with Projects, RD, QM and other stakeholders for planning diagnostic development
5. Track the new projects, series changes and field fixes time plan and accordingly schedule DTD team's deliverables
6. The engineer will also manage diagnostics content releases, prepare procedure manuals, and generate monthly dashboards and MIS reports to support management visibility.
7. Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and optimize costs across assigned responsibilities
8. Plan and implement initiatives aimed at driving efficiency improvements and cost excellence
9. This role offers a strong foundation in automotive software and diagnostics, providing exposure to cutting-edge technologies in trucks and buses.

Project Objective:

1. To provide dedicated Japanese bilingual Diagnostic development support for After sales Diagnostic tool and ensuring DTD development and validation of contents in Authoring environment.

Scope of Engagement:

1. Daily onsite support (8:00 AM –5:00 PM JST) following Japanese Calender
2. Focusing on the planning, development, and release of vehicle diagnostics systems for commercial vehicles
3. Analyze ECU changes, authoring diagnostic data in formats such as CXF and ODX, preparing specification sheets
4. Ensure preparation and release of procedure manuals after successful testing
5. Prepare Monthly management dashboard and detailed MIS for Authoring and testing
6. Provide interpretation support during meetings between Japanese and non-Japanese stakeholders

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
