- M.Sc. Forensic Science / Human Genetics / Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Microbiology / Genetics / Molecular Biology.
JSO (Fingerprint)
- M.Sc. Forensic Science.
JSO (Chemistry)
- M.Sc. Forensic Science / Chemistry / Biochemistry.
JSO (Ballistics & Toolmarks)
- M.Sc. Forensic Science / Physics / Mathematics / Applied Mathematics / B.E. (Civil/Mechanical).
JSO (Questioned Documents)
- M.Sc. Forensic Science.
JSO (Photography)
- M.Sc. Forensic Science (Digital or Multimedia Forensics) or B.E./B.Tech. or above in Computer Science or Electronics.
JSO (Cyber Forensic)
- M.Sc. (Cyber/Digital Forensics) / M.Sc. Forensic Science (Digital/Cyber/Multimedia Forensics) / B.Tech. or above in Cyber or Digital Forensics / MCA / M.Sc. IT / B.E. or above in Computer Science.
Desirable: Working experience in a recognized Forensic Science Laboratory.
👤 Age Limit
- 18 to 30 years as on 1st August 2026.
- Upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST candidates as per Government rules.
💻 Other Eligibility
- Computer Proficiency as prescribed by Government rules.
- Mizo Language Proficiency as prescribed by Government rules.
