Job Title: Junior Technical Assistant (JTA) 
Organization: Directorate of Geology & Mining, Government of Mizoram 
Location: Aizawl, Mizoram 
Total Vacancies: 4 Posts (2 Regular, 2 Provisional) 
Key Details
Salary: Level 4 in the Pay Matrix (Regular) / ₹16,920 per month (Provisional) 
Selection Process: A single joint examination will be conducted for both new applicants and previous applicants from Feb 2026 (Advt No. 4 of 2025-26). Top 2 rankers get Regular posts; 3rd and 4th rankers get Provisional posts. 
Age Limit: 18–35 years (as of 01.08.2026). Up to 5 years relaxation for SC/ST. 
Application Fee: ₹200 (₹150 for SC/ST/OBC) 
Application Dates: September 1, 2026 – September 30, 2026 
Eligibility Criteria
Education: HSSLC (Science) with Physics and Chemistry, or higher, from a recognized institution. 
Computer Qualification: Basic knowledge equivalent to NIELIT CCC (min. 80 contact hours: 32h theory / 48h practical) or equivalent. 
Language: Working knowledge of Mizo language (at least Middle School standard).
