The Mizoram Strategic Incubation Mandate

We are looking for a high-impact, entrepreneurial leader to serve as the Manager – Business Development for the entire state of Mizoram. This is a greenfield territory role. With no pre-existing infrastructure in Aizawl or Lunglei, you are responsible for constructing our entire commercial architecture from the ground up. You will act as the business owner, tasked with pioneering the market, appointing master distributors, and driving aggressive retail penetration for Bitly (hygiene), Tara's (breakfast lines), Himalayan Heat (multigrain snacks), and Cool It (beverages) across every district.

Core Responsibilities & Autonomous Business Building

1. State-Wide Market Pioneering: Conduct a comprehensive commercial audit of Mizoram’s geography. Identify high-potential trade corridors in Aizawl, Lunglei, and key hill-town markets to initiate our state-wide launch.
2. Master Distributor Architecture: Hunt and sign up the state’s most influential wholesale stockists. Your goal is to secure high-volume primary supply partners capable of handling our entire portfolio across mountainous logistics routes.
3. Direct-to-Retail Evangelism: Spearhead the retail network build-out. Personally visit high-footfall retail outlets in Aizawl and Lunglei to pitch the product range, ensuring shelf visibility and brand entry into the Mizo market.
4. Revenue & Pipeline Ownership: Take full P&L responsibility for the Mizoram territory. You are measured strictly on revenue growth—from cold-prospecting to final order fulfillment—and the ability to sustain repeat purchase cycles.
5. Logistical & Supply Chain Strategy: Navigate the unique topographical challenges of Mizoram. Collaborate with local transport syndicates to ensure "last-mile" delivery reliability to stockists and retail accounts.
6. Technology & Data-Driven Growth: Implement our mobile sales automation suite to track daily store coverage, order velocity, and distribution penetration across the state. Provide real-time strategic reports to headquarters.

Candidate Specifications & Qualifications

1. Experience Profile: 5 to 10 years of proven experience in regional business development, FMCG territory launch, or distribution scaling. Proven ability to launch products into new/challenging states is mandatory.
2. Educational Background: MBA or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Marketing.
3. Critical Skills: Exceptional strategic negotiation skills, high levels of emotional intelligence, and professional fluency in English, Hindi, and Mizo.
4. Mobility & Logistics: Must possess a valid driving license and a vehicle suitable for long-distance travel across hilly terrain. You must be comfortable with intensive, long-form travel between Aizawl, Lunglei, and outlying districts.

Pay: ₹20,466.39 - ₹36,389.09 per month
