mentioned post is to be conducted by the Mizoram Public Service Commission.
Application can be submitted through the Mizoram Public Service
Commission’s online portal https://mpsconline.mizoram.gov.in till 13/10/2026
upto 4:00 PM.
Probable applicants who have not registered in the one-time-registration portal
must register and submit their application well in advance before the last date
of submission of application to enable them to submit their application in time.
An applicant must verify that his/her application is actually submitted after
payment is made; otherwise, the claim of the applicants regarding his/her
candidature will not be entertained.

7. Job Description : The core duties and responsibilities of a Peon
includes File Movement, Mail Delivery, Office
Upkeep, Visitor Support and General Assistance.
8. Conditions of Eligibility :
I. Educational Qualifications :
Class-VIII certificate or above from recognized Institution.
II. Age Limit:
A candidate must not be less than 18 years and not more than 35
years of age on 1st August, 2026. Upper age limit is relaxable up to 5
years in case of ST/SC candidates or as may be notified by the
Government from time to time. For proof of age, HSLC/HSSLC
Certificates/Voters ID/ Digitised Birth Certificate which clearly shows the
candidate’s date of birth shall be accepted. As per UIDAI clarification
Aadhaar Card is not acceptable as a valid proof of date of birth. (Click

III. Mizo Language Proficiency:
A candidate must achieve the pass mark in the qualifying test of Mizo
Language Proficiency as prescribed by the Government from time to
time. However, a candidate who studied Mizo subject in Class-X
standard(HSLC) or above within Mizoram or who opted for Mizo subject
as MIL outside Mizoram is exempted from taking the qualifying test
paper(Reference: the Mizoram Gazette Notification vide No. A-
11019/1/2021-P&AR(GSW) dt.09.04.2024 issue No.247).)].(Details can be

IV. Documentary support to prove fulfillment of eligibility conditions should
not be dated later than the last date of application, and the same
should be uploaded latest by the last date of application.
V. Mandatory Documents to be uploaded
(1) To support their applications, the candidates must upload the
following documents in the online portal, positively before expiry of
the period specified for submission of the application:-
a) Marksheets of Class-VIII & above.
b) Educational Certificates of Class-VIII & above.
c) Proof of proficiency in Mizo Language [Para 8.(III)].
d) SC/ST Certificate (for SC/ST candidates only).
e) Proof of date of birth [Para 8. (II)].
f) Proof of educational qualifications (Certificate & Complete
Marksheets) for the post applied for corresponding to relevant
part of [Para 8.(I)]
g) Documents, if any for which there is no assigned box for
uploading should be uploaded in the “Others” box/field of the
OTR Page of the online portal (Multiple documents can be
uploaded in the “Others” box/field).
Note:(i) Wherever on the OTR profile page, under the ‘Supporting
Documents’ section, the name of document to be
uploaded includes (Certificate and Marksheet), the
certificate and the accompanying marksheet should be
scanned together in a single pdf file or photographed
together clearly, and such pdf or image file should be
uploaded.
(ii)Supporting documents to be uploaded should not be
protected from any person for viewing or printing etc.
Any uploaded file which is protected in the said manner will
be considered as not uploaded.

9. Validity of the candidature of an applicant shall be assessed based on the
documents uploaded in the online portal only.
10. Any application for alteration of documents already uploaded by the
candidate in the online portal should be made well before the last date of
application in order that such modification would become effective before
the expiry of the last date.
11. Any alteration of documents made in the portal after the last date for
submission of application shall not be considered for the particular post
applied for.
12. Failure to upload any of the mandatory documents by the closing date for
submission of application will result in rejection of the application.
13. Disqualifications:
(i) Canvassing (insawipui) by a candidate directly or indirectly will disqualify
his/her candidature.
(ii) Particulars/Details to be mentioned in the application should be
completely and correctly stated. Any application not specifying the
required information of a concerned candidate shall be liable to be
rejected.
(iii) Any candidate who, on verification at any stage of the recruitment
process, does not fulfill any of the eligibility conditions will be disqualified.
Accordingly, a candidate remains liable to disqualification even after
appearing for written examination.
(iv) Any candidate who fails to submit his/her application with supporting
documents as required, during the stipulated time period shall be
disqualified.
14. Debarment:
Candidate(s) charged and found guilty of misconduct, using unfair means or
intimidation of officials shall be debarred from appearing in any
examination/recruitment conducted by the Mizoram Public Service Commission.
The Commission will maintain a record of this and the same shall be sent to the
Union Public Service Commission as well as to other State Public Service
Commissions. Candidate(s) debarred by the Union Public Service Commission
and other State Public Service Commissions shall also automatically be debarred
by the Mizoram Public Service Commission.

18. If payment is to be done through UPI, it may be done using only the mobile
number used for one time registration. Persons with disabilities are

exempted from payment of application fees. Fees once paid is nonrefundable
under any circumstances.
